Prayer Request
As any long-time resident of this fallen (yet good and beautiful) world knows, our existence is one that in a moment is blessed and sweet beyond words and in the next, bitter and heartbreaking. My last update was to share our family’s joy at the arrival of my beautiful little nephew, Laydon.
Now I very humbly ask for your prayers, thoughts and well-wishes for my beautiful cousin, Elly.
She is 24 years old and would have graduated from college this May. For the past 2 months she’s been suffering terrible and debilitating migraines but on this past Thursday suffered seriously enough to be rushed to the ER and placed in ICU. An MRI and biopsy revealed cancerous lesions on her brain as well as metastasized cancer in various places throughout her body. She is a vibrant, otherwise healthy young woman just perched on the edge of an amazing life who is like a little sister to me, and very dear to the whole family.
God bless all of you and know, too, that I pray for many of you by name daily, and all of you generally (since there are so many names to try and remember, but you are all covered nonetheless!).
Gratefully,
Jacob
Blessed Chiara Badano, pray for my cousin!

ok. i will ask for god to comfort her and the family.
That is horrible. I will pray at this very moment.
Praying
I will pray for God’s will and peace and comfort for the whole family. I hope that all turns out well. She is a lovely girl and it sounds like she is well loved. It always hurts to hear about when bad things happen to good people. God be with her.
Lord, have mercy.
Will pray. Keep us posted.
God, I lift up Elly to you in prayer. We ask for wisdom of the doctors and healing from you, the great physician. May her family find comfort and peace in you and find a way to glorify you throughout this. Please relieve any pain Elly may be having including those migraines. May her friends be encouraging and supportive. Thank you for loving her and us all the way that you do. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

The Lord bless you
oh,my that is so sad and I always feel worse when I hear bad news about a young person. I’m almost 62yrs old and I have lived my life one day at a time but this seems so unfair.
I tell people that their mother or grandmother will be alright and I have to say the same for your cousin.
She will be alright
prayers
I hope she gets better.
just as Andrew explained I am inspired that a student can earn $6838 in 1 month on the internet. have you read this page http://www.wow83.com
Hello Jacob, I pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet daily and I will be including Elly. May God bless her and her family with comfort at this time, and miraculous healing if it is in God’s will.
Prayers going up!
Offering up this difficult day for her.
Done. Best wishes for her and the whole family.
I said one for you and one for her yesterday, and I will say another for both of you today.
Sad, sad news.
Oh my gosh, done!!
That’s horrible! I’m so sorry and am sending healing thoughts to you and your family.
I am sending prayers for this precious, beautiful young woman and for all involved.
I will pray for Elly. Thank you for all of your prayers for me. I appreciate every single one.
I will pray. Steve’s dad has suffered from a brain tumor since Steve was 18. It trashed his military career. He was a brigadier general when it happened, and was expected to go even further. He was a mover and shaker and I’m told was so intelligent that it was almost scary to banter with him. When Steve and I dated, he still had the banter and his personality, but also had what seemed to me like mild autism. Since then, things have worsened. He’s lost his ability to read and his language center of his brain is impaired. He’s still amazing with our kids, but very hard to connect with us adults. So I’ll think of your cousin when I think of Steve’s dad.
Praying for your cousin! May the Lord give her strength and healing.
God bless Elly of the pale gold hair, limpid blue eyes, and serene countenance, and her household.
and Jacob, too.
@BigToePeople -
May Steve’s father be upheld also
@wrybreadspread - Thank you.
Father,
Hear my prayer and intercede for me to be heard. Heavenly Father, I can look into the eyes of this beautiful lady and know that she deserves a full and painless life. Her beauty is externally radiant and she should be just as perfect on the inside.
I am an old man with many hurts and much illness. Please take the illness and pain away from Ms. Elly and allow me the honor of carrying her burden.
She will be on the prayer list at our Assembly and Organization. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - Thank you, Brother! I am hoping to see her at the end of the month and will try and update on the situation.
I know the power of prayer and what it can do, because I a proof if it. So when we pray, things will have and have faith too believe this. And I know I will hear a good report when you post it. Bro. Doc
so sorry to hear. is she doing any better?
@LadyofWaters - I’ll actually be visiting her tonight for a little bit. She seems to be doing well, but I don’t really know too many details on how she’s really doing and what doctors are saying. So, we’ll see!
can’t believe I only saw this now. Will hold a positive thought for your lovely cousin and i hope for the best for her. <3
@LucyLThinks@twitter - No worries; I will be visiting her tomorrow and hope to update things a little. Peace!
@LucyLThinks@twitter - And if this is the Lucy I think you are, I pray for you every day.
