UPDATE
THANK YOU ALL for your thoughts, prayers and support for my sister, who left the shores of Dover yesterday morning to make her attempt.
SHE MADE IT! My sister swam the English Channel in 15 hours and 39 minutes, non-stop, never touching the boat!
Now I imagine she will be taking a looooooooooong nap!

Oh NO, The Cat’kiks are able to swim across the Channel. Bad enough having ‘em cross the Irish Sea in boats loads. We’ve already lost Liverpool. Thanks for the warning of the new Armada, or am I over reacting to a commendable girl doing what I wouldn’t even try? Indeed, crossing the Channel in a ferry gives me the willies.
