Ah, so nice to receive comments. I’m ok. I wanted to post earlier, but then I thought, “What’s the point?” It didn’t seem like anyone was reading this past week anyways. Also, it was late and I was completely brain-dead. Sorry if I worried some of you. Wasn’t my intention.
Oh, and to sick_kitty lady, thanks.
I haven’t been called sweetie in a long time.
I’m in a really grey place right now. Maybe it has been the rash of overcast weather, maybe it is the fact that I am trying really hard to not love Mystery Girl in a way other than “dear friend,” I don’t know. It’s rough going, like that scene in “Master and Commander” where the doctor practically does surgery on himself. It’s rough, but necessary. Not like I haven’t done it before. If the psyche had visible scars, I’d be more than happy to show them off. Screw tatoos, these were free.
Yep. Gosh I have no idea what to blog about. I just got done with a Star Wars movie marathon where me and two friends watched the first four yesterday and then the last one today. One of them had never seen the films, and the other had barely seen most of them. They seemed to enjoy them, especially Yoda, R2-D2, and the Ewoks. I sensed a general “short” trend. Which is fine I suppose. I just like Star Wars, short or tall.
Man where to go with this blog… you all ran out of questions so I can’t get away with that for a while… hmm… maybe I’ll take requests. Maybe that’ll work. If anyone has a subject, a question, what have you that you think I might have an interesting opinion on, go for it. For example, “Why is Beethoven the greatest musician of all time?” Heck, you could even ask weird questions like, “Is it really possible to have a perfectly straight line?” or deep questions like, “If God is good and he created everything, why did God create evil?” I don’t care what you ask. Maybe that’s how I need to run this blog for a little big, an all-request line. Yep. Tell me what you wanna see people.

WOO Ewoks! so cute and cuddly! they are my fav!
Awwww thank you!
There’s nothing wrong with being in a “grey” place for a while. I’m actually pulling myself out of one right now. The last couple of weeks have been…odd. But like Carrie said, spring is almost here! It’s MY favorite season. So fresh and cleansing and bright and oh, I just love it! Just hang in there and you’ll end up in a stronger person.
And what’s all the talk about not being young anymore?! Sure, your site may be “Ancient”, but my mom would cry if she knew you thought you were old! OK, maybe not really, but ya get the picture.
alright, here’s another visit from my dork side. My uncle posed this one to me, so I’ll pose it to you. It’s from the movie Clerks, but brings up some great debate points for dorks:
The first Death Star, in A New Hope was completely operational, and as such was loaded with several hundred stormtroopers and loyal servants to the Empire. After the destruction of Alderaan, it is easy to see this power needed to be destroyed, and the Rebels do so killing everyone on board, but since they were evil, it’s not that big of a deal, right?
Now, fast forward to Return of the Jedi. The Second Death Star was not completed yet, but it was fully operational (as you find out in the movie). But still, that Death Star had to be host to far more innocent people, like technicians and slave labor who were forced to complete it. So, the question is, when the Rebels destroy the second Death star, do they not also kill those several hundreds of innoncents? So they aren’t the saints the movies portray them out to be, are they?
Now, let’s throw in an Onion article (I know, I know, they’re not a real newspaper) written a ways back. In it, they state that the Death Star had a daycare facility aboard. If that’s true, then the Rebels once more aren’t saints again.
Now, let’s add in the numbers of the Bothans who die getting the information on the second Death Star. What, in the end, makes the Rebels any different than the Empire they are fighting against, except for the fact that they don’t mind letting aliens die for their cause, instead of humans?
Just something to ponder a little.
Ah! The dork side strikes again!
Alright, I guess I got nothing. Wait! Here’s a good one. What, is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything? Oh yeah! Oooo! Another good one! What makes a good comic book/ movie/ book villain in your opinion? What makes them the most memorable?
That’s all I got now. Have a great week!
and to the commentor who said ewoks are cute… No, no they’re not. My favorite game in the Star Wars universe is Battlefront, because I can kill those stupid creations all I want. Now, if only Jar-Jar existed in Battlefront, life would be glorious!
