Well, I am off to Connecticut this morning, and I will not return until late Monday night. I have a Knights of Columbus Collegiate Council Conference in New Haven, Connecticut for the next couple of days. New Haven is where our headquarters is, and me being Chancellor here means I need to attend with our local Grand Knight. Well, a knight is nothing without duty, for life and honor both come of it. Please pray for a safe journey! I’ll try and update as soon as I return!
“My honor is my life; for that I shall live and for that I shall die.”
-Klingon saying (yeah, I’m a nerd)
“A knight is sworn to valor, his heart knows only virtue. His blade defends the helpless, his might upholds the weak, his word speaks only truth, his wrath undoes the wicked.”
-The Code of Knighthood
Just a little insight as to how I try to live my life. Good words to live by.
God bless and keep all of you!

Have fun, my friend, have fun. Let’s try to fit that in our schedule over Thanksgiving break… It should just take me a day to help my family move things, so yeah, I’ll find time somewhere… Now, I’ll just have to borrow a vehicle to use to travel out there on my own… So I’ll talk with you more later, as I know more when I need to help them out and what time I have free… Here’s hoping to seeing you over Thanksgiving Break! Take care!
you’re kidding me, you’re a knight, chancellor, thing? that is totally awesome! you don’t seem quite as juiced about it as i am, your excellency, but hey, maybe Laramie doesn’t make quite as big a deal of things as Oakland does. as far as my execution of those goals, er… well, i’ve got no miracles under my belt, i plan to be excitingly poor, so the mountain thing is kind of out of the question, and, well, i’m american too, so i suppose the queen can’t knight me either. [darn that fine print!] if i really want a daughter named scout, i guess i can adopt if it turns out that won’t work out. that bit you wrote about children was realy quite profound, kudos. yeah, i guess i’m not really supposed to be thiniking about this kind of thing though, according to school counselors, there is something wrong with me. apparently going to silent study halls as opposed to collaborative study halls, doing pencil sketch copies of the works of Jaques Louis David, {he painted the portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte} and not attending school dances makes me some kind of freak. oh well, my philosophy is that if you’re not generally attractive to other people in high school then you must be doing something right. your thoughts?
by the way, i was wondering if you had read the following books. The DaVinci Code, Carter Beats the Devil {i forget these authors}, and The Passion [by Jeanette Winterson]

hey, just cruisin’ through. since you know so much about star wars and stuff, how the hell do they use the bathroom?!
you’re kidding me, you’ll get a sword? i hope, truly, then, that you achieve this higher order! what do you do, and what willyou have to do if promoted? this is so exciting! ..and in america? wow, let me impress upon you how terribly educational this is becoming for me. and, Jesus, is there a whole big hierarchy surrounding this? well, duh, there must be, but… wow. I went from totally excited to solemnly dumbfounded to an excruciating state of reverence for you in about five seconds. you have no idea what kind of power this brings you. deeper than governmental power, i mean. i swear, if you are the kind of guy i think you are, i judge you by your comments, choice of vocabylary, stunning rhetoric, and the star wars quote at the top of the page, then telling any girl of your dreams that you are a knight will win you an instant kiss and marriage proposal. trust me. wow. wow, again. yeah, you just keep doing what you’re doing… extraordinary….. blimey… bloody hell…. you have a nice day, okay?
god bless
i like nerds…nerds are cool..
