  • Filler

I was at the mall the other day and I saw this sign. I think I was the only person in the mall that found it funny, and I can’t decide if it is funny that the sign’s composer made a grammatical error or sad that no one seems to mind.

I suppose many people are wearing their pants 40% off these days anyways.

I hope to write up a quick post tonight before I REALLY go on vacation. Oy!

  • I’m not a grammar nazi but it does bother me how misspellings are so common and no one seems to care at all.

  • Hahaha, you’re not the only person who finds these signs highly amusing.

I like the signs at the grocery store. “15 items or less” Really it should be “15 items or fewer” :P

  • LOL! I thought the sign was funny along with the picture you provided.

So since I am not very good with spelling — where is the misspelled word? Is it in the fine print I can’t read? Pants is spelled right. Along with all, the, Limited, and off.

  • @kamrandolph -  There isn’t any misspelled word, just bad grammar is all!

  • Hahaha. Too true.

  • Nice catch. Most people are oblivious to these things. At a traffic light near my house there has been a sign that states “LEFT TURN YEILD ON GREEN” for over two years and I think I’m the only one who knows, because it’s still there… *facepalm*

  • I DO NOT SEE THE ERROR in the sign. I “see” the error in wearing one’s trousers below one’s hips, metaphorically “see” because it is a mental error, and perhaps a spiritual one as well.
