Happy New Year!

I just wanted to let everyone know that all the young men of the Society of Jesus from Wyoming to Indiana, from Minnesota to Iowa and everywhere in between, just finished praying for you and the entire rest of the world, both those living now young and old, just this day conceived and just now passing away, all those born this year and all those who now pray for us constantly in paradise and those who mourn their moving on, Christian and non-Christian alike. You are all loved and considered each and every day, but especially this night we held you all in our hearts before the Lord and offered thanksgiving for the year now giving way to the new. God bless you all!

Thank you Jacob. I appreciate it greatly.
The world would explode if it weren’t for all your prayers.
Happy New Year and thanks. You’re one of the good guys.
happy new year
You’re awesome! Happy New Year!
Your prayers are truly, truly appreciated! Have a wonderful 2011!
I’m very touched by the prayers offered on our behalf. Please know that I prayed for you as well, that God will continue to hold you close and guide your steps as you continue in your priestly studies. Oh, how we need priests! Just as I am thankful for our military, police and firefighters, I also am grateful for priests. Our troops protect our liberty, police & firefighters protect life and property, but priests have the biggest responsibility of all–the salvation of our souls. God bless you, your brethren, and have a Happy New Year.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Jacob!
Thank you for your prayers!
A blessed New Year to you too!!!
Monsieur Jacob, do you believe in religious belief of Apocatastasis? What are your views on that particular idea? Would anything be exempt from this?
Au revoir.

Please forgive the delay! I did not have internet access for a couple of weeks! From what little I understand about Apocatastasis, I would say that I don’t believe in it specifically. However, I would add that I don’t necessarily believe it isn’t possible. Based on my understanding, all people have the potential to be saved and, for all I know, all people are or will be. Where I tend to have trouble with the idea of Apocatastasis, again as I understand it, is the idea that also demons/fallen angels will be saved. I think one unique blessing we have is that we do not sin (turn away from God) with full knowledge and understanding. Sure, we make our choice but we do not fully grasp the consequences of that choice, and I think this is partially why we are forgivable. But a fallen angel, who understands perfectly and sins with full knowledge, makes their choice once and for all, so I have a hard time trying to imagine how they could be saved, since repentance would be impossible. I hope that makes sense, and thank you for your question!
Thank you for coming by and taking part in the Hug Fest!
