*raises hand* never have actually but just try to focus on blessing others on Valentine’s Day instead of throwing myself a pity party, lol.
Me… and at the moment, I could care less.
I…For the first time in all my years, managed to hold onto a woman long enough to make it to V-day. Cynical, evil, blasphemous me. I have no idea what to do. -_-
I have one but he never remembers things like Valentines Day
I don’t have one. It’s a lame holiday anyway. lol!
Well, maybe I have an unofficial one, but I can’t give him a hug or a kiss anything considering he lives many thousands of miles away… sigh
In human form? No. But the lover of my heart? the One who dies for me?…. now He loves me, and that should be enough…… doesn’t always fee llike it, but none the less, it is true. Then again, we are not to be led by our feelings.
I’m babysitting on Valentine’s day….. so does an 8-year-old little boy count for my valentine? lol
@Ancient_Scribe - Ah, that may very well be true, but I know that mine is here with me every day. His breath is like lilacs on the breeze and he dances over me mightily every time it thunders and lightenings. He whispers beautiful things in my ear should I quiet myself to listen. He is rarely tangible, but always aware of me, and I am almost always aware of Him.
I have a backup one….but he asked to be my backup.
You know who my Valentine is. I talked long with Him at Mass, even though Mass was not in a chapel.
@maje_charis - You and me both! Forget roses, I get awesome sunsets and perfect little moments.
*raises hand*
I’m sort of resigned to being content with my friends.

That’s a darling photo!
I didn’t have a real valentine until my husband came into my life. I thought it was the lamest holiday on earth. I thought it was designed to make men miserable because women have huge expectations, but keep them a secret, and no man can divine what the woman wants so they always will fall short. Not sure why I took men’s side in the whole Valentines Day social pressure issue.
Now that I’m happily married to a wonderful, thoughtful man…it’s so very very fun to celebrate our love and the gift God has given us in each other. I almost changed my site theme to a Valentines Day theme because I’m so happy…but then I remembered my former loathing of the Hallmark Holiday and figured I’d be kind to others and not overdo it.
Love your response on Dan’s blog.
I have one, and I have had the same one for 3 years now. (husbands make for good valentines)
Odd sort of question but a lovely picture. Incidently, as a random note, thank you for sticking up for being respectful to women on the various xanga message boards. It is greatly appreciated.

i came over here after reading your very thoughtful (and loving) comment about how about men notice HER… well i had to come over here and say hi.
i didn’t count on having such a question to answer…
That would be me.
love should be celebrated everyday and LOVE should be shared everyday too….now CHECK OUT MY “NEED HELP?” BLOG…thanks
I do… but my valentine is Jesus. ^_^
I wanted to let you know I finally did my first Bible study at my Christian Fellowship Club and it went well!!! I was so excited because I talked about love and how God’s love is always unconditional. I just thought about it and tried to do a little bit of research… but I was so happy. God always delivers, no matter what. =P
@LitlKittyKat - Sounds like you are going to have an AWESOME V-Day then!

@seraphimssmile -
Sounds like you two have the same Valentine.
At least, that’s what I think! The perfect Valentine, too; He offers Himself instead of roses.
@peanutgrrl2426 - He will probably be an AWESOME Valentine!
