Some help would be nice!
Hey, I am doing a presentation on Monday about Jesuits as they are viewed in pop culture and society. I would be very grateful if all my subscribers who see this update would provide their honest opinion about the Jesuits, even if it is just to say, “I have no opinion” or “I know nothing about the Jesuits.” Don’t worry, I won’t provide names and I won’t be angry at anyone! Thanks for the help!

I don’t know much of anything, but if you hang out online at forums.catholic.com you could learn a few things. Like I’ve read from people there that the Jusuits used to really stick close to the Pope, but a lot of them have turned liberal and meandered away from Church teachings.
well not much is really discussed about the jesuits. I know absolutly nothing, and if I know anything it is from people who aren’t jesuit. So as much as I know is, the Jesuits used to be the word of the church, a branch of catholicisim that came out during or shortly after Luther. Now that the Catholic church is much more liberal than they used to be, Jesuits are still Catholic but not as prominant as they once were….I could be totally off and have no idea
In all honesty, I don’t know much about them.
While I’m no expert about the Jesuits, I’ve studied enough history to be familiar with their background, and in my opinion, they are exceedingly cool people. Their traditional method of missionary work wasn’t “go out and persecute everyone who isn’t Christian,” but instead to understand the cultural context and convert through debate and education. And I love how they emphasize the use of each individual’s particular gifts. I have friends who have graduated from both Jesuit high schools and Jesuit colleges, and I know I couple of novices. In short, the Jesuits are just awesome.
the Jesuits ROCK!!!
Well I don’t know anything about them except they were in the movie “Man In the Iron Mask” with Leo DiCaprio. If they discussed anything about them in the movie, I don’t remember it. So you can just say I don’t know anything about them!

as for my opinion on them. eh. no comment. i’d like to know a little more about them before i go and give an opinion on them. i’m what you call a christian. i don’t like that label too much. but it’s the closest thing to label me with in that i may give you an idea on my beliefs. lol. i’m what you like to call a full gospel believing, tounges speaking, filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus is Son of God, rose from the dead believing, hand raising, hand clapping, foot stomping, walking in the the Spirit, one on one relationship with the one true Lord, my Savior, baptized BORN AGAIN’R! lol. enough of my ramblings. that was just to give you an idea of my backround.
ANYways… hope the link was of some small help to you
My image is a guy that wears a robe and reads a lot of books. Also, maybe has adventures of the politacl intrigue sort.
I don’t know much more than what you’ve already told me about them and from the movie The Mission with Robert DeNiro and Samuel Irons.
Just thought I’d pass along a juicy tidbit. Joss Whedon will be writing another Serenity comic at the end of the year 2007. He’s really taken to comics, especially in the realm of Marvel and Dark Horse. Hope you have a great week!
