Month: February 2005

  • My sister keeps telling me that I should update, but frankly, I have nothing interesting to talk about yet. It seems as soon as people stopped asking questions, or you all found out how boring a person I am, that I became creatively constipated in the blog department.

The poetry, however, has been pouring from out my heart incessantly so.

I’ve been writing several poems a day since the seventh of February and boy howdy can I feel a toll on my soul. It is really hard pouring so much of yourself into something just to make a person feel special on some damned holiday. I do it, though, because I know she appreciates it. She truly does admire my talent, and I also can’t stand to see so lovely a lady going unadmired. That’s why I’m also writing a poem for another young lady I know. The poor girl doesn’t have a Valentine! How tragic is that?

I tell you what. Every day next week I will post a poem for all you Xanga women to (hopefully) enjoy. If you have an otherwise crappy Valentine’s Day (as I am sure to) you can at least come to my Xanga page and know that this man appreciates all of you, knowing full well that 99.9% of all women are beautiful, and the other .1% is Michael Jackson.

  • Huh. Things are drying up.

Well to answer IdiotSavant’s question briefly, I didn’t watch it. Sorry.

Here’s the only other question really.

If they made a movie about your life, who would portray you and your family members?

    Posted 2/3/2005 at 10:44 AM by Lady_Mother

Well I would be played by. . . I don’t know. Maybe that guy from “A Walk to Remember.” No idea.

Dad would be played by Gerard Butler, Mom would be played by. . . Madeline Stowe, Cheyanne would be played by. . . huh. Um… Katie Holms. Yeah that works. Mike would be played by himself because, come on, no one can imitate the Great One. And Matt would be played by the youngest kid from Malcolm in the Middle, because that little kid is great.

    Yep. There’s that one.

I seriously don’t think that anyone would want to make a movie of my life though. I’m misunderstood as it is, who needs to confuse the world? That and there are a couple of beautiful women that played important roles in my life that NO actress in the world could POSSIBLY come CLOSE to portraying. Unless they want to insult the real people. And me. Grr. Stay away Hollywood, unless I end up doing something really cool later. Then we’ll talk.

Oh and by the way, in a couple weeks you all MIGHT be treated to a somewhat personal and very interesting story. Stay tuned. If it turns out to be something I can share without betraying the confidence of others, I’ll share it. Until then, fellow Xanganites.

  • Firstly, I want to express my hope that everyone read the January 30th entry. I just don’t feel I left it up long enough for everyone to catch it. Anywho, this will probably be pretty brief, as it seems people are “drying up” as far as questions go. All except: Spidey!

Why, out of all the Superheroes in the world, did you happen to choose Batman?  Who is your favorite author?  What is your favorite book and why?

Posted 1/31/2005 at 4:46 PM by spidyredneckjedi

Why indeed. WELL. Firstly, I like the whole fact that he doesn’t believe in killing his enemies. Secondly, I like the fact that he doesn’t have a superpower and relies solely on his intelligence and the knowledge he has gained over a lifetime of study and self-discipline. I like the fact that he uses a good portion of his wealth on charitable causes, and I like the fact that for the most part he is a gentleman. I also LOVE his style. His choice of cars, his costume, his fighting, all of it. Another thing I like is that he has some REALLY cool villians. The Joker is hilarious, Ra’ al Ghoul is just BRILLIANT (my favorite bad guy), and Mr. Freeze, though he has a somewhat cheesy name, breaks my heart. That poor guy has a really sad story behind him and every time I see him in a comic book or on TV in a cartoon (NOT portrayed by Arnold in the rumored 4th film. Yeah, rumored. It is dead to me.) I get all choked up. Way deep down, but I feel for the guy. Hate the Penguine. Catwoman, not Halle Berry’s laughable attempt but the real deal, is pretty cool. The romance between her and Batman was interesting to observe. The Scarecrow is probably the creepiest villian ever. (See the January 27th entry for more reasons why I like Batman.)

Yes, I like Batman for those reasons, and probably more I can’t think of. That or I just don’t want to embarrass myself further in front of all the gorgeous possibly at one time interested women that I KNOW visit my site. . . . .

Ok, you can laugh now. Come on, it’s ok.

As the Joker said, “Haven’t you ever heard of the healing power of laughter?”

Then I think he kills someone. Moving on.

My favorite author. . . that’s tough. I would have to say that Tolkien is my favorite author though I’ve only read the Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring. The mythology and ideals that man wrote about reach out and touch me on a level that few can relate to. Aragorn is my hero. *tear*

My favorite book, however, is a different matter. I can’t narrow it down. I just love books in general. I love most of the Star Wars books, even if there is the occasional Planet of Twilight or Crystal Star. Or heck, why not throw the Correllian Trilogy in there while we are on the subject. Nate, you know what I’m talking about. But yes, I love books. Heck just looking at a shelf full of books makes me feel good. There is just something beautiful about books that makes my day.

That’s it for this “round.” Please ask more questions if you have them, and don’t be afraid to pry deep. Test my limits. Poke places that might hurt. If I don’t want to answer them, I won’t. Dont’ be afraid of “inciting my wrath” or anything. But yeah, if you stop asking questions then I’ll have to try and find interesting things to blog about and you all know how that will go, especially since the Mystery Girl Epic came to a close.

    Gooooooooooodnight Vietnam.
