*sigh* I’m sitting here in the bowels of the Student Union killing time. It is 10:14am MST and my next class isn’t until 11:00. BLAH!!!! If you are getting out of school early for any reason you are very lucky people. I get done at 3:00 which means that is the time I get to walk all the way back to my room and rot for the night. Yippers. Well lemme see if I can find something interesting to put up here for the moment. . . ah crap I can’t find anything. Wish I had more time. Hey, a funny thing: Last night I was checking out headlines on abcnews.com and there was a story about the battle against colon cancer. The first sentence of the summary was: “Not all rectal bleeding should be a cause of concern.” WHATEVER! I’D SURE AS HELL WORRY!!! Have a nice day y’all!

Here is a little stress reliever for all my friends out there. This is a poem I wrote for a friend who was down with a cold and I recommended she drink some tea. So I wrote her some tea. Here it is! Hope you like it, just something I whipped up quick. hehe. Pinkies up!
Ah, if a flower was steam. . .
Its sweet healing scent
Drifting into my nose
My mind
Misty tendrils massaging
My tired brain. . .
A cup of herbal sunlight,
A warm summer’s day
Snaking down my throat to
Nestle in my empty
Stomach.
Tendrils of tepid
Honey reaching out to
Touch the black blossoms of
Exhaustion that bloom throughout my
Body, growing in their place cheerful
Little dandelions of
Contentment.

This is the William Wallace Monument in Stirling, Scotland. you all know William Wallace, the guy from Braveheart? BEST MOVIE EVER. Anyways, it is a long stair climb to the top but the view is awesome. Above is the tower, Sir William’s sword, and a view of the whole monument seen from Stirling Castle. Now check this view!!!

The castle as seen from the monument!!

To the north, the Ochils!!

This is the long-haired Highland cow, or what the locals call “hairy coos.” There were a pair in Lewiston, Scotland; a tiny little town of less than 100 people a couple miles north-east of Loch Ness. It was such a beautiful place to be. One of my favorite places! Anyways these cows are really nice and friendly and whenever you give them a piece of bread they will pose for you when you take their picture!

Using the “power” of the InterNet I will also be able to try and show you the places I’ve been in Scotland when I spent two weeks there in September-October of 2001. I might even post some of my journal entries from those days if I feel people might be interested. This is part of Yorkminster, the largest cathedral in Northern Europe located in York, England. It was huge and every single piece of this place was basolutely beautiful. I wish I could have shared this place with a friend but none could come, just me and my momma. Oh well. Some day. . .

I’ve noticed a lot of xanganites (hehe new word!) like to publicize their favorite bands. Well since I like classical music I don’t really have a favorite band but this is close! These are my pals the Eroica Trio. they are such cool people and they are phenomenal musicians!!! Congrats to Erika and Adela on their new kids!! Well, I guess they’d be a year old now. . . I’m so outta it!

Today. . . hmm. . . well it was kinda nice out, a little colder than yesterday. Last night I hung with my new friends. We roleplayed (a nerd game. Yes, I am a nerd!!!) and one of my friends was a Wookie. Well we were all being chased by some cops and he told the taxi driver that if he lost the cops we’d make it worth his while. So the friggin’ cabbie takes off at 900 kph and ends up wrecking. So when we crawled out of the wreck we had to hide. The Wookie hid in a garbage can of all places and I cracked everyone up when I called him a can of whoop ass.
Hope you all had a fine day. I only had one class!! German sucks by the way. Well, as a class the language is neato and the people are so cool. My teacher is a really cool guy and he’s from Frankfurt I think. I also think I might start posting my novel I started writing based off the video game “Legends of Zelda.” It’s pretty good. If you like tolkien’s work you’ll like this. Later!
